Dining

Single-occupancy rooms include one Friday dinner and one Saturday breakfast; double-occupancy rooms include two Friday dinners and two Saturday breakfasts.

You may purchase additional meals for children over the age of six, other guests not staying on campus, and Virginia Tech students. Meals are free for children under six and graduating seniors with a dining plan. (Graduating seniors will be required to present their Hokie Passport IDs to receive the free meals.)

To purchase additional meals you may order on-line, use the order form included with the commencement lodging brochure, or pay cash at the dining center at each commencement meal. Commencement meals are all you care to eat and will be served at D2 in Dietrick Dining Center.

Deet’s Place, our on-campus gourmet coffee, ice cream, and pastry shop, will be open Friday, May 9 from 7:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M., and Saturday, May 10 from 6:00 A.M. to 10:30 P.M. for your convenience. In Squires Food Court, Au Bon Pain® will be open from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Friday and 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, and Sbarro® will be open from 10:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday.
